Born in Imola in 1978.
Diver since 2006, he immediately developed the passion for underwater photography thanks to his 5D mkIII Canon with its waterproof housing NA5D3.
He started shooting sea bottoms of Micronesia, Red Sea and Indonesia.
From 2010, he shoots with Canon reflex, and he continues researching in underwater photography techniques in the best diving sites in the world, such as Anilao and Puerto Galera (Philippines), Ambon (Moluccas) and Walea (Malaysia).
He was part of Nauticam Team Immagine during the “photo hunting” of humpback whales in La Rèunion, and he visited some of the top dive destination in the world, shooting always high level pictures, some of them also exhibited.
In Italy he often dives in the Adriatic Sea, between Rimini and Sistiana, as well in Liguria, between Noli, Portofino and the east coast of the region.
Marco is not only an underwater photographer, but also a nature photographer passionate about large predators such as bears and wolves, that he photographed several times in Italy.
He participated in conservation, photo identification and photo-trapping projects, in collaboration with the local authorities.
